The NSL21924 is a 24-channel automotive-grade high-side LED driver with 100mA output current capability per channel. It supports flexible 2-bit global and 6-bit independent current settings, along with configurable 12-bit PWM dimming.
The NSL21924 incorporates the innovative Supply Thermal Sharing technology, which reduces the driver IC's temperature rise and enhances current drive capability.
This device features diagnostic functions including LED open-circuit detection, short-circuit protection, and single-LED short detection. In case of MCU communication failures, its built-in configurable watchdog timer automatically activates fail-safe states. Combined with the programmable EEPROM, the NSL21924 allows flexible configuration of fail-safe parameters for diverse applications.
The NSL21924A is an extended part number (PN) of the NSL21924 with default address expansion. Without requiring EEPROM programming, the NSL21924A achieves an 8-bit address extension design through its Addr pins.
